John & Renee decided to embark on a new adventure, returning to Washington from the Chicago area, where they enjoyed living for a short while in St Charles, Illinois. Port Townsend, WA, provides a Victorian Seaport and Art Community, while retaining it’s small town charm…
John is retired from 26 years of management for the JCPenney Company. He now works for RE/MAX First, Inc. in Port Townsend, and was Jefferson County Association of Realtors ‘Realtor of the Year’ for 2004. He has worked in many areas of Real Estate, and is a Certified Mediator. He enjoys fireworks and Pyrotechnics. He often shoots the local fireworks show at Fort Worden State Park for the 4th of July. John is and has been very active in the community of Port Townsend, WA. He has been the Chamber President, Chairman of the Victorian Festival and spent several years on the Port Townsend School Board.
Renee is a “Domestic Engineer”, and enjoys all aspects of managing the Inn. Decorating the Inn and coming up with delectable recipes for breakfast and tea time treats are her specialty. Renee’s hobbies when she has time, include scrapbooking, reading, gardening and quilting. Growing up in Lake Tahoe, California, Renee considers herself a “west coast” person, enjoying the outdoors while walking and cycling.

Spending time with family is very important to John & Renee. They have three daughters, 3 son-in-laws, and two grandchildren, Declan & Sadie, both ages two years. Five grand-dogs round out the family. They enjoy traveling with family to favorite spots like Disneyland, Disneyworld, Yellowstone National Park, and New Orleans. They are always happy though, to return to beautiful Port Townsend, WA., surrounded by mountains, water and fir trees.
