Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water! Swimming isn’t the only thing we do around here, and we don’t do too much of that (it’s too chilly!) … kayaking, boating, whale watching, fishing…and playing in the water at beautiful Point Hudson..
Yes folks, the sun does shine here occasionally, and when it does we all head to the beach. If your lucky enough to hit a low tide, there are all sorts of things to see – like this clam..he was returned safely to the sand, where he promptly dug himself back down in.
We try to get out early for our morning walks, you never know what kind of wildlife you might see…not much wildlife here though, everyone must still be asleep!
John was setting up for 4th of July fireworks at the beach, when he got a video of the new ferry “Salish” for the first day of crossings..it’s actually crossing paths with the “Chetzemoka”
Two ferrys back in service finally, cuts the crossing time to 45 minutes.
