You have to get up early, but you can walk 3 blocks to the bluff overlooking downtown, and get some great pictures of the bay.

This picture was taken by Ryan Burns during the 4th of July Rotary Fireworks show this year. We watched the fireworks from the beach at Hudson’s Point or is it still Pt. Hudson? Anyway, it was a great show!

A really fun place to visit when in Port Townsend is our local corner market, Aldrich’s. Located in Uptown, just 3 blocks from Blue Gull Inn, it’s a great place to look for unusual snacks and treats.
